Chilly Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving – Partly Sunny; Few AM Flurries – High 38º / Thu Night – Partly Cloudy; Cold – Low 25º

Outside of a few ‘no-worry flurries’ this morning, our weather pattern will be sunny and cool on this Thanksgiving Day.

The system that brought snow flakes to the area last night will quickly cut a path to our east, clearing skies by late morning/early afternoon.  The latest HRRR suggests flurries will still be possible ~9am…

Clouds will gradually clear through this period, leading to partly sunny skies by afternoon.  We’ll slate highs in the upper 30s, thanks to northwesterly winds of 10-15mph.  Bundle up to combat both the cool temps & wind before you head out for that feast.

Skies will continue to clear overnight, allowing temperatures to tumble, holding out in the mid 20’s.  There will be no good reason to go outside, so feel free to stuff your face some more…

Happy Thanksgiving!

Fri – Mostly Sunny; Chilly – High 46º / Fri Night – Partly Cloudy; Cold – Low 39º

Not much changes for us by the time Black Friday rolls around.  For all your crazy shoppers and bargain hunters out there, the weather looks to cooperate for all the shenanigans.  Speaking of shenanigans….

Surface high pressure will build across the south, giving us mostly sunny, chilly conditions.  Highs will warm into the mid 40’s by Friday afternoon, with the end of the week beginning a nice warming trend.

Clouds will be on the increase once again on Friday afternoon with cloudy skies expected through our Friday night.  Look for calm and cold weather as lows dip into the mid 30’s.

A mix of sun and clouds will join highs in the 50s on Saturday, with a few pop up showers not out of the question.  Rain chances will increase as we progress through Sunday, accompanying temperatures in the mid 60s during the afternoon.  A welcomed warmup, indeed.

That’s all I’ve got this morning.  Be sure to stay up to date with all your real time Bowling Green weather info @WxOrNotBG and @WarrenCountyWX on twitter.  Have a fantastic Thanksgiving!
