NWS Louisville Upgrades Storm Surveys

The NWS Louisville office announced on Tuesday that they will soon be providing new and improved storm surveys to the public.  They will be providing two separate kinds of surveys related to single and multiple damage paths.  The screenshot below was taken from NWS Louisville.  It showcases how the new single path survey will look:

The following is a snippet from a breakdown of the new surveys produced by the NWS Louisville office:

For each recent or future tornado, straight-line wind damage/microburst, or significant hail damage event, you will find a Single Path Damage Map on our webpage in addition to a text write-up, photos, radar imagery, etc. For larger events with multiple damage paths, you will find a Multiple Paths Damage Map in addition to Single Path Damage Maps for each path. Below are examples of both highlighting key features.
