Good Sunday morning everyone! There is nothing but good news to talk about for the next three days, so I’ll keep it short and simple. A persistent trough of low pressure will continue to… persist, which is aiding the stable weather conditions over the next few days. Highs are expected to be in the upper 80s and near 90 in some areas. Here’s the surface map for 1pm today:
Sunday evening and night are looking very calm and clear, no hassles are expected. Lows overnight will fall into the low and mid 60s across the region.
Monday 8/4 – Sunny – High 90° // Monday Night – Clear & Calm – Low 64°
Monday’s weather is going to be almost exactly like Sunday. Trough is lingering over the region and still holding weather conditions into stability. Maybe a few fair weather cumulus clouds, but otherwise, no hassle here either. Mostly Sunny skies and temperatures in upper 80s to near 90 for highs. A great start to the work week.
Monday night is looking great; clear and calm, continued variable northeast winds and lows in the mid 60s.
Tuesday 8/5 – Mostly Sunny – High 91° // Tuesday Night – Partly Cloudy– Low 67°
Tuesday is the same story once again, but we may be a bit warmer as northeasterly winds may begin to ease up. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs around 90. This trough, as pictured below, is still hanging around the area. Weather should be tame as a result.
Tuesday evening and night look calm and quiet overall; guidance suggests cloud cover may be on the increase but no precipitation as of yet. Lows overnight in the mid and upper 60s. Looks like the #DrySpell will continue for the next few days folks.
