Periods of showers and storms are expected throughout the day, as a strong cold front advances east across the region. Torrential rain, along with flooding will be our main threats, with lightning and strong winds also a possibility. Temperature values will be limited to the 60s this afternoon, with lows falling into the 40s tonight, as clouds break up across the region. For Monday, a mix of sun and clouds will join highs in the mid 60s, as high pressure takes over, kicking off the start of a cool, quiet period across south central Kentucky.
