Showers Present Across The Region

Scattered showers have developed across the region, as forecast, and will continue to plague us through this evening.  As we get into the afternoon, we could see a few thunderstorms be introduced to the action as well.  Severe weather is not expected.  The upper low that was located near the Gulf this morning has opened up and advanced close to our region, giving us a forcing mechanism to work with a damp airmass we have in place to create the scattered precip.  Follow the activity with the real-time radar above.  Temperatures are currently located in the lower 70s, however, values are forecast to stretch to around 80 by late this afternoon.  That’s all for now, gang.  I’ll be back this afternoon with a fresh update on our conditions.
