Comfortable Temperatures Ahead of Cold Front

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to Thursday. Hasn’t this fall weather been nice? We’ve had some chilly mornings, but we will start to see some warmer, more comfortable temperatures ahead of an approaching cold front.

Small Chance of Showers Today

We’ve hit that time of year where it’s cold enough for a sweater in the morning, but t-shirt weather by the afternoon. Today won’t be as bad, however, as temperatures will quickly warm to the upper 70’s. We will see increasing clouds as we move through the day as well. Some scattered showers are possible this evening, but nothing significant. A few sprinkles at most.

With the clouds present, we won’t cool off tonight as much compared to other nights this week. Our lows will drop to the low 60’s.

Cold Front Passes Friday Night

Ahead of the cold front to our west, we will see another comfortable day Friday with highs again in the upper 70’s. The clouds will stick around as well. We won’t see much action until Friday evening when the cold front moves into our area and brings with it higher rain chances. These showers could last through the overnight hours.

Lows Friday night will cool significantly into the mid-40’s once the front passes. Our Saturday will remain much cooler as well, with highs only reaching about 60 degrees. The sun returns, however, so a beautiful fall day is in store.

Cool Air Remains for Next Week

As we move into the start of next week, the cooler air looks to stick around. A high pressure will influence our weather the most and bring a period of dry, sunny, and cooler weather for a few days. Another cold front moves our way Tuesday, and will bring our next shot at seeing some wet weather.
