Summer Heat Slowly Begins to Rebuild

Greetings, everyone, and welcome to Thursday! We’ve had beautiful weather the past few days that has really got me excited for fall. But before we talk about fall, we have to finish summer first. In fact, as we close out the week, summer heat slowly begins to rebuild.

One More Day of Cooler Temps

Highs the past few days have barely made it past 80 degrees. Similarly, thanks to winds from the northeast, highs today will only crawl into the low 80’s. Dew points also stay unseasonably low and refreshing at about 60 degrees. Our weather is still controlled by a high pressure system to our north, so sunny conditions are in store again today.

Lows tonight will drop to a cool 60 degrees. Another good night to open some windows and give the A/C a break!

Heat Returns For the Weekend

The upper-level flow pattern that brought us this beautiful weather finally begins to break down this weekend, which means we’ll start to see the heat again. Friday’s highs will be in the mid-80’s under sunny skies, while dew points remain comfortable. In other words, it won’t be muggy. A beautiful start to the weekend!

Temperatures continue to rise for our Saturday, with highs reaching the upper 80’s. Our winds will have shifted from the south, meaning dew points will begin to rise as well, making it feel a little more sticky outside. The sunshine remains, though, for most of our Saturday.

Next Rainmaker Possible Early Next Week

Another sunny, but warm, day is in store for Sunday before the pattern changes again and rain chances return for our area. Another cold front will head our way Monday night into Tuesday bringing some wet weather we haven’t seen in a while. It could be another opportunity, however, for a shot at those cooler temperatures.
