Good morning, Kentucky! Today will be pretty beautiful but we’ve got a few more showers headed this way. I’ve got all the details below!
Beautiful Tuesday
We’ll warm up to the low-70s and stay dry for the majority of the day. Light showers are in the forecast but will not come into the picture until late this evening.
Any rain that does fall overnight/early in the morning tomorrow will result in very minor accumulations. Along with those showers will come overnight temperatures that will dip to the low-50s. Overall, we’ve got a pretty nice day in store!
More Showers Tomorrow
We’ll get a few degrees warmer tomorrow, but showers are in the forecast once again. Rain may start fairly early on and continue off and on throughout the entire day.
This round of showers will result in minimal accumulations as well. Things will clear up overnight and temperatures will drop to the mid-50s.
Another Round of Rain on Thursday
The end of the week will be slightly cooler than the previous few days with temperatures reaching only into the upper-60s. As of now, the rain looks to be here by around lunch time on Thursday.
The heaviest showers and storms will be in the later evening hours but plan for rain all day long. We could potentially see 1-1.5″ of rain on the ground from Thursday’s system.
End of the Week/Weekend Outlook
A cold front will pass late Thursday night/early Friday morning and cause the temperatures to hold back quite a bit. Friday will only reach the mid-50s with another round of showers and thunderstorms after lunch time. Saturday will make it into the low-60s with another chance of showers.
That concludes today’s post! Enjoy this beautiful day and stay up to date with the rain headed this way by following @wxornotBG on Facebook and Twitter. Have a great week!
