A Period of Quiet Weather is Upcoming

Good Sunday morning folks! I am here to bring you another forecast, and this one may brighten your day! A period of quiet weather is upcoming, and I am very excited about that.

Serene Sunday

Currently, temperatures are quite chilly out there. With mostly clear skies last night, we were able to drop into the upper 20s in most locations across our region.

This will quickly change, as a weak surface low passes to our north today. It will shift our winds to the south, southwest, and then west, becoming breezy at times. This will help us warm into the upper 50s and lower 60s for highs this afternoon.

As the cold front is approaching, don’t expect anything in the way of precipitation. However, we’ll likely see some nice cumulus clouds form along the front, which will create a pretty sky out there.

Overall, it just looks like another beautiful Sunday out there!

Mostly Nice Monday and Tuesday

Yep, I can put these two days together again!

There will be a semi-noticeable cool down tomorrow behind this weak front. Don’t fret about it, though. The sunshine looks to shine almost all day on Monday, which makes the little cool down worth it!

Expect highs in the lower 50s region-wide, as northerly flow dominates at the surface.

On Tuesday, the surface high will begin to move east, as our next weather maker approaches. This will shift our winds to southerly again, and will allow us to warm up a bit!

Expect highs in the mid and upper 50s on Tuesday afternoon with mostly sunny skies. High clouds are expected to move into the region by Tuesday afternoon, but that shouldn’t dampen the day.

Wet Wednesday and Quiet Week

Wednesday looks to be the worst day of the week, and that really is saying something considering it won’t even be that bad.

Another weak low pressure system will approach the region. With some more mid and upper level support, we are expecting more rainfall on Wednesday. Even still, totals will be low and it’ll just throw a wrench into the entire week being quiet.

Thursday through the weekend looks fantastic. Mostly sunny skies should dominate, and highs should climb back into the 60s in time for the second round of the NCAA tournament!
