Howdy, y’all! Hope everyone is doing well on this Sunday morning. It has finally stopped raining across the region, and in my opinion, that is cause for celebration!
Sweet Sunday Sunshine
As I write this, the sun is shining outside of my window here in middle TN, and I couldn’t be more happy. Haven’t seen the sun this bright since….I can’t remember honestly!
Across southern KY, the sun is shining early this morning too! However, an area of clouds is pushing into the region behind the secondary cold front rocking on through.
Luckily, the clouds will quickly move out and give way to a beautiful, sort of chilly, and very windy Sunday! A Wind Advisory is in effect for the area until 6 pm this evening. Expect gusts upwards of 40 mph, which may uproot some trees.
Outside of that, today looks picture perfect. Expect highs to rise a bit into the mid 40s within plentiful sunshine.
Mundane Monday and Terrific Tuesday
The chilliest day that we will have over the next week or so will come on Monday.
Don’t be annoyed though, because it will be sunny! We may see some high clouds late in the day, but otherwise, it is looking like a nice day to get the sun that we all need so badly.
After starting off in the upper 20s for lows Monday morning, we’re expected to rise up into the mid and upper 40s for afternoon highs! Not to shabby.
Tuesday looks much different. The cool high pressure system controlling our weather right now will begin lifting to our northeast, and we’ll get a distinct wind shift to the south and southeast.
With partly cloudy to partly sunny skies all day Tuesday, we’re expecting temperatures to rise from the 20s into the upper 50s and lower 60s for highs on Tuesday!
It’ll be quite the case for Spring Fever, and will just be enjoyable considering the weather has been so terrible lately.
After Tuesday, clouds increase Tuesday night and Wednesday, with rain chances (*Eye roll*) arriving Wednesday night through Friday late this week.
Well, that is all I have folks! Have a fantastic Sunday, and be sure to follow @wxornotBG on Facebook and Twitter for the latest weather info.
