Kinda Feels a Bit More Like Summer

Today – Mostly Sunny – High 83° / Tonight – Mostly Clear – Low 58°

Upper and low level high pressure will keep things toasty and dry for the next several days. The current jet stream configuration depicts low pressure across the western US, while high pressure dominates the southeast US.

As a result, a return to summer-like heat will be possible the next few days. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs around 83° for today.

Mostly clear skies should move in overnight as lows drop to around 58°.

Thursday – Partly Cloudy – High 83° / Thur Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 58°

A rinse and repeat forecast is in store for Thursday. High pressure will remain locked in place across the region, leaving rain chances north of the Ohio River. Partly cloudy skies with a high around 83° seems likely again.

Partly cloudy skies with a low around 58° seems like Thursday night.

Friday – Mostly Sunny – High 84° / Fri Night – Mostly Cloudy – Low 63°

The front that had approached the Ohio River should retreat back northward on Friday. This will leave us with mostly sunny skies across the region with high temperatures in the mid 80s. Doesn’t really feel like fall to me.

Mostly cloudy skies are likely on Friday night as the low pressure system gets it act together. Lows will be mild in the low to mid 60s.

That should wrap up this forecast. Be sure to follow @wxornotBG and @WKUweather for the latest Bowling Green weather information. Have a great hump day!
