Yesterday was a very nice day across the region. Temperatures rose to a high of 74° despite some high level clouds and slight northerly winds. No rainfall fell across the region as thunderstorms skirted just south and west of the region once again. Today is not starting off too bad either. Check out this sunrise from White Squirrel Weather!

Forecast Discussion
A very warm and calm few days are in store to finish out the week. For today, high pressure has settled into the region with the departure of a cold front to the south of the region. This will lead to chilly temperatures and partly cloudy skies across the region. Clouds may thicken up overnight as the High moves to the northeast. Highs across the region should be in the mid 50s, with lows dropping into the upper 30s.
Thursday, a strong ridge will move back into the region. This will lead to a warming trend for the region. Despite mostly cloudy skies, southerly winds should help temperatures climb to near 70°! This is almost identical to the weather on Monday, but with more cloud cover. Overnight lows will drop into the low 50s.
A trough to the west of the region will provide southwest flow on Friday. The only thing that may limit high temperatures are some clouds. However, if the clouds look to thin out some, we may make another run at 80°! Right now, I have a high temperature of 75° under mostly cloudy skies. Lows overnight will drop into the mid 50s across the region.
