Today, we have a surface low pressure system and associated cold front moving through the area. We’ll start off fairly dry with the chance for some isolated showers and drizzle.

The front looks to move through around noon, bringing with it some cooler temperatures. Highs for the day will occur early and will continue to drop throughout the day, eventually falling to the mid-50’s by late afternoon.

With the frontal passage, northwest winds will pick up, making it a bit breezy this afternoon.

Tonight, high pressure will move eastward toward our region, setting up a very nice start to the workweek. For Monday, we will be dry and very comfortable outside with highs in the upper 40’s under sunny skies.

Tuesday will also remain dry and comfortable with highs in the low 50’s under partly sunny skies. A cold front associated with a low pressure system in the Great Lakes area will move through late Tuesday night. This will keep temperatures cool for the second half of the work week.
