Tornado Watch Issued Until 9 PM

A Tornado Watch has been issued for all of SoKY, and much of central Kentucky, until 9 PM CST.

The main threats associated with this will be isolated tornadoes, damaging wind gusts and lightning. The set up is described in depth in the Midday Update from earlier. To reiterate, though, the environment is primed for severe weather this afternoon. Do not let the winter weather threat overshadow that. Both threats are serious, and should be treated as such.
