Good morning, Bowling Green! According to the NWS Climate Report, we had a high of 82 degrees yesterday. That is absolutely, incredibly too warm for fall weather! I want sweaters, sweatshirts, and warm scarves, but I can’t wear any of that in 82 degree weather! Ugh.

A cold front is continuing to push through the region, with some lingering showers across the state. Luckily, these showers will diminish by late morning, leaving us with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures ahead of the front may increase into the upper 60’s, but will continue to fall through the afternoon. Highs for today will be in the upper 60’s.

For Friday, high pressure will begin to build into the area, allowing us to have mostly sunny skies and warm-ish temperatures. Highs for Friday will be in the mid 70’s. Honestly, this is such an incredibly boring forecast. I’m getting bored just sitting here writing it.

An upper level ridge will develop over the southern portion of the U.S., yielding above normal, warm temperatures. Highs for Saturday will be in the upper 70’s under sunny skies. There really isn’t much else to talk about due to the fact that the weather is so stinkin’ boring.

For the long term, we are going to be anomalously warm for a majority of next week.
