A cold front is pushing through the region this morning, bringing with it some rain chances. The main headlines for today will be increased cloud cover and cooler temperatures. It looks like it’s going to stay mostly cloudy into the afternoon, then the cloud cover begins to break up a bit. Highs for today will reach the mid to upper 60’s.

For Friday, it looks like our rain chances increase due to another disturbance moving in from the southwest tonight and into tomorrow. Rain chances look to be scattered, but the cloud cover will last throughout the day.

An upper-level ridge extending from Texas will allow temperatures to increase drastically into the 80’s over the weekend.
Extended Outlook
That upper-level ridge looks to stick around until early next week, allowing our temperatures to shoot up into the upper 80’s. But relief is on the way!! Another strong cold front looks to push through the area during the middle part of next week, cooling us down quite nicely.
