Recently at WxOrNotBG, we have been trying to create excellent and consistent content for you all to read through weekly! So, I have brought back the weather week in review. This is a good way to look back on the week, and appreciate the weather that has occurred! So, without further ado, here is your weather week in review for: June 5th-11th.
Well, this past week is literally nothing to write home about in even the least. It was quite possibly the most boring weather week that I have experienced in my life.
I mean, it was literally just sunny. The first three days of the week were absolutely amazing. I mean just awesome. we experienced some low humidity, low temperature days. Temps ended up only in the upper 70s and lower 80s for couple days this week, and that was just amazingly nice.
However, after Wednesday of this week, it has gotten absolutely hot.
A strong and amplified ridge has moved over much of the central and eastern United States, and has since placed us under some hot weather. Over the past three days, we have seen temperatures well within the 90s, with dewpoints and humidity increasing over the past couple days.
Moisture has increased on the western side of the high pressure, and this has created a miserable conditions the past couple of days across the state.
Nationwide, the weather has been similar, except for Montana, where it has been rocking. They have had some incredible supercells up there this week. Outside of that, this has been a very, very, very boring weather week.
