Real-time Bowling Green Weather Radar:
Today – Chance Showers in AM; Mostly Cloudy – High 60˚ / Tonight – Decreasing Clouds – Low 47˚
Howdy, Bowling Green! A few days ago, I would have said that I don’t mind when it rains, in fact, I actually kind of like it. Today, however, I am absolutely sick of this rain! Luckily, we only have to put up with it just a little bit longer!

The shortwave rotating around the upper-level low pressure system will keep showers in the mix for today, mainly affecting the eastern portion of the state. It looks as though our region could see some light early morning showers, but then be gone by late morning. We should also see some intermittent sunshine during the afternoon hours, allowing high temperatures to hover around the 60 degree mark.

As that upper-level low pushes to the east, we will finally get some relief from the rain. Lows for the evening will be in the upper 40’s with decreasing clouds during the overnight hours.
Friday – Sunny – High 72˚ / Friday Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 52˚
It’s finally Friday, and it looks like we’re gonna have a beautiful day to end the work week (a.k.a. no rain)!

The upper-level low will continue to move eastward, allowing our region to see some of that much needed sunshine! During the day, temperatures will stretch into the low 70’s under sunny skies.

Evening low temperatures look to be in the low 50’s under partly cloudy skies. There is a small chance we may see a pop-up shower or two during the overnight hours, but nothing substantial looks to take place.
Saturday – Sunny – High 82˚ / Saturday Night – Chance Thunderstorms – Low 61˚
Saturday will be much warmer than the past several days with highs in the lower 80’s under sunny skies. I would expect to see mostly sunshine with some intermittent clouds during the day as we prepare for another system to come through the second half of the weekend. According to the models, this system looks to come through on Sunday, but timing is not certain at this point. Because of this timing uncertainty, we could see some thunderstorms Saturday night and into Sunday. Make sure to check the next blog posts to stay updated on this information. Lows for the evening look to be in the low 60’s.
That’s it for me! Y’all have a great rest of the week and try to have some fun!
