Wednesday, 3/16- Sunny – High 69˚ / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 46˚

Good morning, Bowling Green! WKU students may be back from spring break, but with Daylight Saving Time and above-normal temperatures, spring looks like it’s in full swing! Yesterday we hit a high of 85°, which tied with our record set in 1921 – that’s 25° above the climate normal for this time of year!

Today will not be quite as warm as Tuesday, due to a cold front that passed through last night. However, mostly sunny skies and temperatures near 70° will make for a very pleasant day! Winds will be fairly gusty at times, with gusts up to 25 mph possible.

High pressure will keep us dry, as cooler air slowly infiltrates the region. Temperatures on Thursday will make it into the mid-60s before dropping off into the upper-30s/low 40s overnight. All in all, mostly sunny skies and slightly above-normal temperatures will make for a pleasant St. Patrick’s Day!
