Today – Showers – High 65˚ / Tonight – Mostly Cloudy – Low 40˚

Howdy, Bowling Green! I hope y’all are enjoying your weekend! I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it doesn’t look like we’re going to see much sun today. As a cold front pushes through the region today, we can expect overcast skies and rain. However, temperatures will still feel like spring with highs in the mid 60’s.

The front will move southeast out of the area, leading to an end to the rain by early evening. Temperatures for tonight will be cooler with lows right around the 40 degree mark under mostly cloudy skies.

I know that today’s weather doesn’t seem like the perfect way to end the weekend, but one thing will…. the Daytona 500!!

Tuesday – Chance Rain/Snow – High 47˚ / Tuesday Night – Rain Likely – Low 41˚

Tuesday through Thursday could be interesting as there’s a possibility of snow/wintry mix during that period. As of right now, there is very little consistency between the models; however, it looks as though our region might get more rain than other precipitation types on Tuesday. Highs for Tuesday will be in the upper 40’s with the possibility for mainly rain. As more data comes in, make sure to stay updated with the blog.
