Cold Weather Has Made BG Its Home

Real-time BG Radar:

Today: Partly cloudy, with isolated snow showers throughout the day. Highs around 26ºF. Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy, with lows falling to 18ºF.

Well, we are back within a colder pattern once again, as we are sitting strongly within the ebbs and flows for winter across the region. This comes after a week in which we had fairly warm temps for several days (into 70s this day last week). Now, we are just cold.

Overall, it looks to stay cool and snow showery during the day. Highs will barely make it into the mid 20s, and there could be an occasional cold wind gust.

Because of the threat for scattered to numerous snow showers across the region, the NWS in Louisville has placed the area under a Winter Weather Advisory, effective until 9AM tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. Stay alert, and be careful out on the roads!

Overnight, the snow showers should wind down a bit, and with partly cloudy skies, look for lows to fall into the upper teens.

Tomorrow: Cold, and mostly sunny. High around 24ºF. Wed. night: Partly cloudy, with lows around 19ºF.

Though it will lack the similar snow, Wednesday will likely feature fairly similar conditions to Tuesday. It will be cold, but mostly sunny across the area. Look for highs on Wednesday to only make it to the low to mid 20s, as we are influence by a cold high pressure system.

Overnight, look for skies to stay partly cloudy, with lows falling into the upper teens again.

Thursday: Marginally warmer, with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs around 32ºF. Thur. night: Partly cloudy, with lows around 23ºF.

Today looks to make another relatively boring forecast in the line of mid Winter forecasts. Being in strong northwesterly flow, it will again be pretty cold, but not as cold.

Look for highs to end up in the lower 30s, around 32ºF, under partly to mostly cloudy skies. This will be in response to a low forming to our southwest during the day on Thursday. Overnight, look for skies to remain similar, with lows falling into the mid 20s.
