Today 11/20 – Sunny & Cool – High 57/Tonight – Partly cloudy – Low 38
Good morning, Bowling Green! Colder weather is on the way this weekend with some of the coldest temperatures we’ve seen this season. High pressure will keep skies sunny today but an incoming low pressure system will increase our rain chances for tomorrow.
This low pressure system will be bringing the Great Lakes region its first big snow of the season as well as much colder temperatures for our area. I might start breaking out my winter gear!
Saturday 11/21 – Partly sunny; chance scat’d showers – High 50/Saturday Night – Partly cloudy – Low 28
Things will be pretty nice tomorrow morning before the edge of the low pressure system impacts our area. Simulated radar shows the scattered rain showers arriving sometime tomorrow afternoon and then clearing out after a few hours. Not too much rain is expected with this system.
The upper-level trough associated with this surface low pressure will start filtering cold, Canadian air into our area for the rest of the weekend. Sunday looks to be a bit chilly!
Sunday 11/22– Sunny & Much Cooler– High 40/Sunday Night – Clear & Cold! – Low 29
Sunday is going to be pretty frigid compared to the weather we’ve been used to. Northerly winds and broad high pressure will keep things sunny, yet cold.
There doesn’t look to be any rain coming up over the next few days, so expect dry conditions with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will start to warm up closer to seasonal average on Monday. It’s going to be a cool weekend!
