Real-Time Bowling Green Weather Radar:
Today 10/30 – Sunny & Cooler – High 60/Tonight – Cloudy – Low 45
Good morning, Bowling Green! After all the rain we had this week, I am welcoming the sunshine with open arms today. An atmospheric ridge is moving out of the region with high pressure over Kentucky today giving us plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will be cooler but expect them to rise over the next few days.
We’ll need to keep our eye on the low pressure system in the Midwest right now because it will increase our rain chances for tomorrow.
Saturday 10/31 – Cloudy; scat’d showers & storms – High 62/Saturday Night – Cloudy; scat’d showers – Low 55
Unfortunately it looks like Halloween will be a bit overcast and drizzly. The low pressure system moving across the southeast will pull much Gulf moisture up into Kentucky for Saturday. Combine this will a shortwave trough in the upper levels and you’ll likely see scattered rain showers Saturday afternoon and night. Keep that umbrella on hand if you’re out trick-or-treating with the kids!
According to the latest QPF from Friday-Sunday, rain amounts will be minimal for our area compared to that in the Gulf States.
Highs will be in the low 60s during the day Saturday because of the cloud cover so it might feel a little cool but temperatures will be on the rise Sunday and Monday.
Sunday 11/1 – Mostly cloudy; chance of scat’d showers – High 66/Sunday Night – Mostly cloudy – Low 52
The first day of November looks to be an overcast one with chances for scattered showers. Most of the rain will move out toward the end of the day as the low pressure system moves eastward.
The work week looks to be pretty nice with most days being sunny with highs in the 70s. With these warmer than normal temperatures coming soon, it definitely won’t feel like November. Have a great weekend and a safe Halloween!
