Wednesday Bowling Green Weather Update

Real-time Bowling Green weather radar:

Today, 10/21 – Sunny & Warmer- High 75˚ / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 51˚

Good Wednesday morning, Bowling Green! We’ve had a nice fall-like week so far, with pleasant – but warmer – conditions continuing for the rest of the workweek.

Wednesday 1PM
WPC Surface Map, Valid 1 PM Wednesday

Today, temperatures will begin the climb deeper into the 70s, as high pressure over our region keeps us dry. Sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s should make for a nice hump day; with rain possible this weekend, be sure to take advantage of the nice weather during the rest of our workweek! Temperatures will be in the mid to upper-40s as you wake up and head out for your morning commute, but will jump into the 70s after noon.

Tonight, we may see a few more clouds across the area, which will keep our temperatures at around the 50° mark rather than in the low to mid-40s.

Thursday, 10/22 – Mostly Sunny – High 77˚ / Thursday Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 50˚

Thursday will be closely related to Wednesday, with the exception of a degree or two temperature-wise. High pressure will continue to keep us dry, with an amplifying ridge in the upper-atmosphere keeping our temperatures warm. We may see a few clouds, but skies look to remain mostly sunny for Bowling Green on Thursday.

Conditions Thursday night look similar to Wednesday night’s, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 50s.

Friday 10/23 – Partly Cloudy – High 79˚ / Friday Night – Slight Shower Chance – Low 60˚

Friday will be the warmest day of the week, as the upper-level ridge continues to move eastward and become much more amplified. Bowling Green and parts of south central Kentucky may make it close to 80° on Friday; the climate normal this time of year is 70°. So even though we will be a month into the fall season, hints of summer can’t seem to keep away!
