Today 8/14 – Mostly sunny and beautiful! – High 88/Tonight – Mostly clear – Low 66
Whoa! Has this been great weather or what?! I know I couldn’t ask for a better week. Today should be a bit warmer than what we’ve been feeling with high temperatures getting pretty close to 90 degrees. High pressure is still dominating the region, as it has been for the last few days.
Tonight, temperatures will drop to the mid 60s and skies will be clear enough to go star gazing. This will continue on into the weekend making for even more beautiful weather!
P.S. Speaking of star gazing, did you get a chance to see the meteor shower Wednesday night? Check out this great shot!

Saturday 8/15 – Mostly sunny – High 90/Saturday Night – Partly cloudy – Low 68
Persistent high pressure means more sunshine on Saturday. It could start getting a little more humid as dew points increase into the 70s. Overall it should be pretty great – just a little on the toasty side.
Not much will change overnight, so if you enjoy Saturday you can expect a repeat on Sunday.
Sunday 8/16 – Mostly sunny; slight chance for pop-up storms – High 90/Sunday Night – Partly cloudy – Low 70
Broad high pressure will still be situated over much of the southeast on Sunday, similar to the rest of the weekend. Temps will remain around 90 with a light breeze and lots of sunshine. Sunny and warm – can’t go wrong with that.
90 degree surface temperatures added with 70-ish degree dew points could give enough instability for pop-up showers, so don’t rule them out just yet.
Monday brings more chances for rain, so be sure to check with @WxOrNotBG soon for more updates! Have a fantastic weekend!
