Beautiful Bowling Green Weather

Real-time Bowling Green weather radar:

Good Wednesday morning, Bowling Green! I love days like today, because while my forecast will probably sound somewhat redundant, it is a very pleasant forecast to write.

The passage of a cold front will allow cooler than normal temperatures over the next few days… We’re talking low to mid-80s. The normal high temperature for this time of year in Bowling Green is 90°, which we won’t be seeing until the weekend/the beginning of next week.

Cooler temperatures paired with high pressure and sunny skies will allow for beautiful Bowling Green weather over the next few days!

On top of that, dew points will be in the upper 50s and low 60s, meaning it will feel less humid out there as well. All in all, today will be a great day to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather! Or you can be like me, admiring it from inside at work and envying all who are able to soak it up.

Tonight will be clear and cool, with lows around 60° – great for watching the Perseid meteor shower, which peaks tonight.

Thursday, 8/13 – Sunny – High 82˚ / Thursday Night – Mostly Clear – Low 59˚

Thanks to a dip in the jet stream and our high pressure friend at the surface, Thursday looks like another great day for Bowling Green! So basically just take everything I said for Wednesday and read it again for Thursday.

All of this, accompanied with a light northeast wind, will make conditions great for recess at school to those trying make most of what’s left of the summer.

Thursday night will be another repeat of the previous night, with mostly clear skies and temperatures around 60°.

Friday 8/14 – Mostly Sunny – High 86˚ / Friday Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 66˚

Beginning Friday, the dip in the jet stream that helped bring much cooler temperatures to the area will make room for some upper-level ridging. This means that temperatures will increase Friday and into the weekend, but mostly sunny skies will continue to stick around. Temperatures Friday will hit the mid-80s, with 90° returning by Saturday and Sunday.
