We’re Living In Sweat Bowling Green Weather

Real-Time BG Radar:

Today: Very hot, and very humid. Partly cloudy, with scattered storms. High of  93ºF. Tonight: Muggy, and warm. Partly cloudy and isolated storms, with a low of 73ºF.

Well, it has been hot. Really, really hot. I mean, I feel like at this point we are all just living in our own sweat (its nasty).

We are still stuck under a really strong ridge of high pressure that is keeping our temps high and our dewpoints just as high.

With Temps rising into the low to mid 90s, combined with dewpoints up into the 70s will make for an incredibly ugly day to spend substantial time outside.

Now, towards the evening time, I am looking out for some showers and storms to relieve our pain. These should just remain our garden variety, summer time thunderstorms, and maybe a strong wind gust or two. Lightning and heavy rainfall will be the major threats, but they should be a niiiiiice cool down to the hot weather.

Overnight, the leftover clouds should be clearing out, leaving us with maybe some morning fog and lows dipping into the lower 70s.

Wednesday: Again, it will be hot. Very hot. Isolated storms, with a high of 93ºF. Wed. night: Becoming partly cloudy, with a low of 72ºF.

Good grief, it has been hot for who knows how long (I can find that out for you). I feel like its getting really old at this point. I just wanna go outside and it be 75ºF and sunny. Alas, it isn’t spring.

We are still under the influence of a monster high pressure system that has us in a “Rinse And Repeat” weather pattern. Hot, humid, with scattered thunderstorms.

Overnight, we will likely see mostly clear skies and temps dropping into the lower 70s.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, with a high of 92ºF. Thur. night: Mostly cloudy, with a low of 75ºF.

Well, Thursday looks to be basically a replay of the previous two days. I don’t think that storms will be as prominent as in the other two days, but we may have a couple. There will likely be some higher clouds impacting the region as the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill move to our west (more on that in a sec)

Overall, look for highs in the low and mid 90s, with high dewpoints. Look for temps to be high overnight as well, dipping into the mid 70s.

Just an FYI: Tropical Storm Bill formed earlier this evening in the northwestern Gulf Of Mexico. Its remnants are forecasted to track into the US and drop copious amounts of rainfall across several states. It’ll be interesting to see the exact track that this takes over the next few days.
