Severe T-Storm Watch Cancelled

After an afternoon filled with numerous strong and severe thunderstorms, our atmosphere has finally stabilized.  This has led the National Weather Service to cancel the Severe Thunderstorm Watch that was originally in effect until 7pm this evening.

Resulting from this afternoon’s activity were numerous downed trees in Logan and Allen County, along with numerous large hail reports in Logan, Simpson and Allen County.  Here’s a photo I snagged of a severe warned storm as it rolled across the Warren/Simpson/Logan County line around 2:30pm this afternoon:

Conditions will become partly cloudy overnight, with lows dipping into the low to mid 60s.  High pressure will take over Tuesday, which will keep plentiful amounts of sunshine, along with highs in the mid 80s through Friday.  Enjoy your night, and thanks for reading!
