Bowling Green Disc Golf Tournament Forecast

Here’s a short weather forecast for the Bowling Green disc golf tournament.

Today – Light Wind; Partly Cloudy – High 67°

Today is probably going to be one of the better days of the disc golf tournament. We will be dealing with some fairly light wind; around 5 to 10 mph from the southeast. This can be problematic on courses that are open such as Phil Moore, Lover’s Lane, and Ephram White. Highs will top out around 67° across the region.

Saturday – Windy; AM Thunderstorms; PM Isolated Thunderstorms – High 76°

Saturday will undoubtedly be the worst day for the tournament. Morning thunderstorms may linger into the 10 AM time frame before departing the region. Then, a break in the rain and thunderstorms is expected, however winds out of the south around 10 to 15 mph will be problematic on all courses. Gusts as high as 25 to 30 mph will be possible.

Additional thunderstorms may form in the afternoon hours. These may be severe with large hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes possible. Event managers will need to be weather aware during the afternoon and evening hours. You can get more information about the potential severe weather from this morning’s forecast. Highs will be around 76°.

Sunday – Partly Cloudy; Windy – High 65°

Sunday will bring much better conditions than Saturday. Temperatures will cool off some compared to the warmth we had on Saturday. North winds around 10 mph will be possible with a high near 65°.
