2015 KenTenn Weather Ready Nation Forum

If you are a weather enthusiast and would be interested in attending a series of presentations and seminars about meteorology, you are in luck. The 2015 KenTenn Weather Ready Nation Forum will be held in Bowling Green, KY on Saturday, March 21st. The event will take place from 9am to 4pm CST at the National Corvette Museum.

Broadcast meteorologists, NWS employees from four offices, EMAs, WKU representatives, and meteorologists in other sectors are all scheduled to present at the forum. A 45 minute Q&A session with a selected panel will conclude the forum later in the afternoon. A link to this year’s agenda can be found here.

Registration for the 2015 KenTenn Weather Ready Nation can be completed online and the registration fee is $10 for the public and $5 for students and current Ohio Valley NWA members. Registration will include the option to take a $4 self-tour of the Corvette museum at the conclusion of the forum.

The Ohio Valley NWA is a group that anyone can join. The chapter includes a variety of individuals, including local meteorologists (media, NWS, etc), weather spotters & enthusiasts, and students from local meteorology programs from across the state. The chapter hosts meetings in different locations around the region to discuss recent happenings in the field of meteorology.
