Lightning Strike Hits 6 Following Tampa Bay Game

UPDATE: It’s currently being reported by a number of sources that between 5-10 people were struck by lightning following the Tampa Bay Bucs/Green Bay Packers NFL Game Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium.

#Lightning at RJS #Bucs: PIO says 7 were taken to hospital 5 went on their own. 12 in all. Lightning struck nearby, no one was directly hit.

There are currently no reports of any fatalities.  Emergency crews were dispatched, and helped transport some of the victims to the local hospital.
