On Sunday afternoon, an occluded low pressure system, which occurs when the cold front overtakes the warm front, was able to fire off some thunderstorms into a cold atmosphere, and the storms produced some large hail around the Oklahoma City, OK area.

Additionally, the extra spin that the low pressure system added to the atmosphere helped to put down a couple weak tornadoes; one in Kansas and one in Oklahoma.

This low pressure system is gonna end up giving us some rain this evening, but severe weather looks unlikely at this point.
