Bowling Green Weather Getting Chilly

Real Time Bowling Green Weather Radar:

Today 12/9 – Mostly Cloudy; Chilly; Flurries – High 40°/ Tonight – Mostly Cloudy; Cold; Flurries – Low 32°

Cold air will filter into the region today as low pressure to the east and high pressure to the north funnel cold air into the region. This will create for some pretty chilly conditions as the day wears on. We should remain under mostly cloudy skies as a trough continues to dig into the region. A few flurries will be possible from time to time, but these should be too big of a deal.

Flurries will remain possible in the evening and overnight hours, however the flurries will diminish eventually. Cold conditions are likely overnight as lows drop to the freezing mark under mostly cloudy skies.

Wednesday 12/10 – Partly Cloudy; Chilly – High 39° / Wed Night – Mostly Cloudy; Cold – Low 27°

Wednesday will bring much calmer conditions to the region. There will not be a lifting mechanism in place, so I think we’ll see decreasing cloudiness and little chance of flurries. Highs will struggle to reach 40° though as our flow remains locked from the north.

I think we’ll see some more clouds roll back into the region as the temperature begins to drop. Mostly cloud conditions can be expected overnight will lows in the mid to upper 20s.

Thursday 12/11 – Partly Cloudy – High 41° / Thur Night – Mostly Clear – Low 30°

Thursday will bring our first real good break from the cloud cover. It looks like a majority of the clouds should break apart in the morning hours, leaving us with partly cloudy skies during the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 40s. Be sure to have those sunglasses!

Thursday night will bring mostly clear conditions to the region with lows around 30°.
