The Start To December…Not Good

Real Time Bowling Green Weather Radar:

Today 12/2 – Mostly Cloudy; Isolated Sprinkles – High 47° / Tonight – Mostly Cloudy; Isolated Sprinkles – Low 42°

We have a pretty dreary forecast lined up for the next few days. Nearly every day will feature a chance of rain to some extent. It looks like we’ll remain cloudy throughout the day today. A few sprinkles will also be possible as moisture wraps around a surface low parked to the east of the region. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s today.

With a thick cloud deck in place, and even a chance for some more sprinkles, our temperatures won’t dip down all that much tonight. Lows will be in the lower 40s across the Bowling Green area.

Wednesday 12/3 – Mostly Cloudy – High 52° / Wed Night – Mostly Cloudy – Low 37°

The low pressure system will finally be moving more to the east and out of the region. This will allow for high pressure to move into the region, which will help dry us out just a bit. I don’t think we’ll shake the cloud cover, but at least we can leave the umbrellas at home. Highs will also rebound a few degrees into the low 50s. Not too much to complain about.

Wednesday night will bring a nice drop in temperatures though. You can expect lows in the upper 30s across the region under mostly cloudy skies.

Thursday 12/4 – Mostly Cloudy; Isolated Showers – High 46° / Thur Night – Mostly Cloudy; Isolated showers – Low 44°

I think we’ll see a stalled front develop to the northwest of the region on Thursday. This will once again lead to mostly cloudy skies and some isolated showers. With the rain showers present, I don’t think our temperatures rebound as well as they do on Wednesday, so we’ll have to settle for temperatures in the mid 40s once more.

That stalled front will inch ever so closer during the evening and overnight hours. Thus, you can expect the rain chances to continue overnight. Lows will remain fairly constant in the mid 40s.
