A Kansas earthquake has appeared to have happened around 3:40 PM this afternoon. According to Twitter, reports of the earthquake cover several states including Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, and west Tennessee. This is a developing situation and more information will be posted when more information is available.
Update: The USGS has confirmed a 4.8 magnitude earthquake has struck much of the central Plains. The earthquake was centered around Conway Springs, Kansas. The earthquake had a depth of 3.4 miles.
