Last night’s “Blood Moon” caught the attention of viewers from all around the world, as many beautiful images were captured on camera. The lunar eclipse was visible to people in Asia, Australia, North America, and South America. For those of us on the eastern part of the country, the total lunar eclipse began as the sun was starting to rise. However, some observers were able to experience the hour of “totality”, when the moon is completely covered by the Earth’s shadow and turns a coppery tone. Below are some gorgeous shots taken during the eclipse by people all around the country and the world.
