It’s a gorgeous Wednesday for Bowling Green as mostly sunny skies have prevailed with comfortable temperatures in the upper 70’s, lower 80’s. Weak upper level flow and high pressure will continue to dominate our regions weather as we keep the spectacular days rolling in.
Regardless, our day shapes up to be another pleasant one. Temperatures will drop into the 70’s this evening before bottoming out in the lower 50’s tonight. Clear skies prevail as some light patchy fog develops early tomorrow morning.
Thu – Mostly Sunny; Nice – High 81º / Thu Night – Mostly Clear; Cool – Low 56º
Upper level ridging and surface high pressure will continue to grip much of the Ohio Valley Region while keeping this beautiful stretch of Fall weather going. Temperatures will quickly rebound by early afternoon as highs climb into the lower 80’s for Bowling Green weather. A few high cirrus clouds will remain possible once again, but mostly sunny skies will win out for the day.
Calm and pleasant conditions will be the case through the evening and overnight period. Look for mostly clear skies as temperatures remain refreshingly cool in the mid 50’s.
Fri – Partly Sunny; Seasonable – High 80º / Fri Night – Partly Cloudy; Comfy – Low 58º
Not a whole lot changes by late week. The aforementioned surface high pressure will weaken a bit as a weak and moisture starved low moves over the Midwest. In return, a few more clouds will build into the area but no precipitation is expected. This cloud cover should tame temperatures from getting any warmer than 80 degrees.
Otherwise, look for a good mix of sun and clouds Friday with comfortable temperatures. The pesky cloud cover hangs around through the overnight period as temperatures drop into the upper 50’s. Not a bad way to end the work week, right?!
