Real-Time Bowling Green Weather Radar:

This Afternoon – Partly Sunny; Pleasant – High 76º / Tonight – Mostly Clear; Cool – Low 51º

3pm 76º – 6pm 70º – 9pm 62º – 12am 57º – 3am 54º – 6am 51º

What a gorgeous weather day it’s been for Bowling Green despite some of the mid-level cloudiness we’ve dealt with. Regardless, sunshine has made its presence known throughout much of the morning and afternoon as another Fall-like day has prevailed.

The remainder of your afternoon and evening will feature calm and pleasant conditions. Surface high pressure builds into the region tonight as temperatures really cool off. Winds will calm and skies will eventually clear out as temperatures drop into the lower 50’s for overnight lows. Not bad.

Fri – Mostly Sunny; Warmer – High 80º / Fri Night – Mostly Clear; Comfy – Low 60º

Friday will arrive in style. Obviously this means we’re just a work day away from the weekend, but ending the week with exceptional weather makes things even better. Once again we can thank the high pressure for dominating our short term weather. Beautiful conditions will win out through much of the day as sunny skies take over with highs right around the 80 degree mark.

The evening and overnight hours will bring comfortable conditions as temperatures drop into the 70’s. Mostly clear skies can be anticipated for the overnight period as temperatures cool off into the upper 50’s, to right around 60 degrees.

Something about Friday’s that make me wanna dance…

Sat – Mostly Sunny; Gorgeous – High 84º / Sat Night – Partly Cloudy; Cool – Low 65º

The first part of the weekend kicks off great. High pressure will impact our weather but begin to weaken and work eastward. Winds will shift more from our south as some low-level moisture begins to work northward into southern Kentucky. Warmer and more seasonable conditions will return as thermometer readings hit the low-mid 80’s under mostly sunny skies.

An upper level trough and surface low will work across the Great Lakes Region late Saturday.  As this frontal boundary edges closer to the region, an increase in cloud cover can be expected through Saturday night. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy conditions for the overnight hours with mild temperatures in the mid 60’s. This is great news for all the Big To-Do Festival attendees for the second day! So enjoy!
