Monday’s Bowling Green Weather Update

Real-Time Bowling Green Weather Radar:

This Afternoon – Partly Cloudy; Pleasant – High 78º / Tonight – Mostly Cloudy; Stray Shower – Low 62º

3pm 78º – 6pm 74º – 9pm 68º – 12am 65º – 3am 63º – 6am 62º

It’s been another nice day for Bowling Green weather as afternoon temperatures have managed to reach the mid-upper 70’s. However, we’re watching some cloud cover increase across the Commonwealth as a weak upper level disturbance treks through the Ohio Valley Region later tonight.

The approaching cold front will continue to weaken out as it slides through southern Kentucky. This weakening system will mainly provide cloud cover for the area with a few stray showers possible. Otherwise, look for mostly cloudy and cool conditions as temperatures drop into the lower 60’s.

Tue – Partly Sunny; Comfy – High 72º / Tue Night – Mostly Clear; Chilly – Low 51º

The aforementioned cold front will quickly trek through the state before reaching the eastern coast by Tuesday. Another shot of cool, dry air will invade southern Kentucky as the Fall-like stretch continues. Skies will gradually clear throughout the day with partly-mostly sunny skies by late Tuesday afternoon. Highs remain quite comfortable with temperatures in the lower 70’s.

The evening and overnight hours will be great as well. High pressure settles across the region as cool and calm conditions win out. Overnight temperatures will be chilly with lows dipping into the lower 50’s.

How about that forecast, eh?!

Wed – Mostly Sunny; Gorgeous – High 76º / Wed Night – Mostly Clear; Cool – Low 54º

By mid-week our weather really doesn’t change much. Surface high pressure will keep the region in check as we can discard the thought of any rain chances. Plenty of sunshine can be expected for hump day as thermometer readings reach the mid 70’s for highs.

Skies remain clear for the evening and overnight hours with chilly conditions once again. Lows will dip into the low-mid 50’s as we’ll see another crisp and cool night. Not a bad way to start out the week if you ask me!
