Severe Weather Ravages Kentucky: Throughout this past weekend, we had multiple rounds of severe weather ravage Kentucky. Flash flooding, large hail and damaging winds were among the reports that filtered in. As of this morning, no tornado touchdowns have been confirmed.
There was, however, a straight-line wind event that impacted Lexington, with maximum winds estimated at ~95mph. Louisville also caught its fair share of the activity, while several locations in central and eastern Kentucky experienced impressive hail equal to or greater than golf ball size.
