Here is a map of all of the severe weather reports in the area over the past 24 hours. All the green circles you see are flooding reports. The Twin Cities have seen 2-4 inches of rain the past 24 hours and some isolated higher totals. There have even been a few tornado reports across the western part of the state.

As more storms roll over much of the same area this evening, the WPC has placed portions of Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois in a slight risk for flash flooding with two small areas highlighted in a moderate risk.

For the state of Minnesota, June 19 seems to be a flash flood prone date for them over the past few years. On June 19, 2012 thunderstorms resulted in  intense flash flooding in Duluth, Minnesota which caused lots of damage across the city. For more information on the Duluth flooding from two years ago check out these pictures from Time magazine.
