Tornado in Kansas

A tornado touched down in Kansas this evening and it’s a perfect learning opportunity. Remember that a tornado is a funnel cloud if there is NOT ground circulation. Remember that the condensation funnel doesn’t necessarily have to touch the ground, as long as there is ground circulation. Below is a great example.
