The severe weather that caused quite a bit of damage across the eastern part of Kentucky yesterday is now affecting the mid-Atlantic.
A Tornado Watch is now in effect for portions of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
This watch includes the cities of Pittsburgh and Washington D.C.

The SPC is calling for storms capable of producing 70 mph winds, up to golf ball size hail, and a few tornadoes. In addition to the tornado watch, there are also severe thunderstorm watches in effect for West Virginia, Virginia, and portions of North Carolina. It’s shaping up to be a pretty busy day to our east.
