Great Weekend Ahead

Real-Time Regional Radars:

———————————————————————————————————————-

This Afternoon – Mostly Sunny; Pleasant – High 81º / Tonight – Mostly Clear; Cool – Low 55º

3pm 81º – 6pm 78º – 9pm 70º – 12am 62º – 3am 58º – 6am 55º

The summer-like feel across much of Bowling Green has come to an end as the humid conditions are no longer to be found. The cold front that brought us scattered showers and storms yesterday continues to work southward as much drier and more comfortable air filters in.

Wrapping up the workweek will be quite pleasant as this evening will shape up to be a nice one. High pressure will work across the Great Lakes and control our weather for the next few days. Cloud cover will continue to decrease and push southward as the aforementioned system works through the Tennessee Valley Region. In return, evening temperatures will be on the comfy side. I know what you’re thinking, yes, this will be a great time to go home, unwind and enjoy.

That’s right….Relaxation.

Sat – Mostly Sunny; Nice – High 80º / Sat Night – Partly Cloudy; Cool – Low 56º

As mentioned previously, high pressure will continue to influence our weather and bring nice conditions throughout the weekend. Saturday will mimic Friday in many ways as both highs and lows will be nearly identical.

Temperatures are expected to top out at the 80 degree mark under mostly sunny skies with lows back into the middle 50’s. We’ll see a few clouds overnight, but nothing to be concerned with. Overall, this will be a great start to the Memorial Day weekend.

Sun – Mostly Sunny; Warmer – High 84º / Sun Night – Partly Cloudy; Mild – Low 62º

We’ll end the weekend on an exceptional note. High pressure will begin to work just to our east as return flow helps bump our thermometer readings up. Temperatures will be a bit warmer as we make a run towards the mid 80’s by Sunday afternoon with a muggier feel to the air.

Looking ahead to Memorial Day, the warming trend will continue. Warm highs are expected as temperatures soar into the upper 80’s as muggier conditions will be more noticeable throughout the day. No worries though, this will be a perfect time to take advantage of the pool. However, with warm day time heating and a little bit of moisture, we’ll keep a slight chance for a few isolated storms Monday afternoon.

Stay cool out there…
