This will produce southerly winds this afternoon that will be poppin’ at 15-35mph.  Don’t attempt to put up your tent.

Yes, the wind will be beleaguering, however, afternoon temperatures will top out in the mid 70s.  That sounds like one hell of a tradeoff to me.   It’ll be a great time to get your FREE Cheetah Carwash.

Clouds will increase tonight, as the front continues to roll in from the northwest.

Fri – Scat’d Showers & Storms – High 72˚ / Fri Night – Iso’d Rain Showers – Low 52˚

We believe the cold front will stall out just to our northwest Friday.  This means scattered showers & storms.  We may even see the wet stuff move in before dawn.

Everyone will not see rain… by no means will this  be a washout.  The activity will be hit & miss.  The latest GFS precipitation model continues to suggest a damp atmosphere for us on Friday afternoon.

Total rainfall amounts look to stay light, topping out around .25-.75″ before the system moves out Friday night.  The latest rainfall output model favors this idea:

Sat – Partly Sunny – High 75˚ / Sat Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 56˚

Partly sunny skies, that’ll be the story for both Saturday & Sunday.  We could see a few sprinkles/light showers, but nothing that should “rain” on your outdoor plans.

If you’re an avid outdoorsman, this weekend’s forecast is perfect for you.  You’re welcome.

Our next opportunity at rainfall will arrive on Monday, as a stout cold front progresses east across the viewing area.

We’ll have more on this weather disturbance as we get closer to time.  It is worth noting, however, that along with the activity, a major cool down will follow the passing of the cold front early next week.  We’re talking highs around 50˚.
