Colder…Joy

Today 2/26 – Sunny & Freakin’ Cold – High 29˚ / Tonight – Clear – Low 17˚

6am 23˚ ~ 9am 22˚ ~ 12pm 27˚ ~ 3pm 29˚ ~ 6pm 24˚ ~ 9pm 21˚

A few slick spots are likely this morning, so please use caution on the morning commute.  High pressure will have control over the region today, which will supplement sunny skies, along with bitter cold temperatures.  Here’s a look at the current surface setup:

Clockwise rotation from this area of high pressure will create northerly winds of 10-15mph across our proximity, creating even more of a nuisance to add to the frigid temps.  As a result, wind chills this morning will be in the single digits.  Dress warm…yada-yada…you should know the drill by now.

Thu – Sunny – High 46˚ / Thu Night – Clear – Low 17˚

More of the same.  High pressure will nose in, this time from the southwest.  This will shift our surface flow from out of the same direction, which will result in slightly warmer temperatures.  For Thursday night, clear & cold will continue to dominate the weather headlines.

Fri – Sunny – High 39˚ / Fri Night – Scat’d Rain & Snow Showers – Low 31˚

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.  Orange ball of eternal flame will grace the skies with its presence, as cold air stays in place.

Friday night is when our next weather maker will move in from the west.  Available moisture will combine with forcing aloft to produce scattered rain and snow showers.  This does not look to produce anything significant, folks, so hold off on mugging the milk man.

As we get into the weekend, a series of weak disturbances will continue to keep isolated to scattered rain showers in the forecast, as temps hold in the mid – upper 40s.  Nothing beats a nice, cold rain…am I right?  *Rolls Eyes*
