“For Christ’s sake…it’s NOVEMBER!”

This Afternoon – Sunny & Breezy – High 42 / Tonight – Clear – Low 20

4pm 38 ~ 7pm 29 ~ 10pm 26 ~ 1am 24 ~ 4am 21

The cloud deck following this morning’s light snow has exited south of the region, supplementing sunny skies across south central Kentucky.  Don’t let the rays of sun deceive you, folks, as brisk, northerly winds of 20-30mph will keep wind chills in the upper 20s – lower 30s.

Clear skies overnight will allow temperatures to have the rug pulled out from under them, eventually bottoming out in the upper teens.  Here is a look at the current surface conditions.  As you can see, an arctic high is in complete control, and should shift east as the we get into tonight:

Wed – Sunny – High 45 / Wed Night – Clear – Low 25

7am 22 ~ 10am 34 ~ 1pm 40 ~ 4pm 39 ~ 7pm 32

FRIGID will be the weather story for tomorrow morning, gang.  If your vehicle is parked outside, allow time for it to warm up before heading out.  If you have heated seats, go ahead and plan on cranking them up as well.  Arctic high pressure will keep complete control of our weather, suppressing highs to the lower 40s under sunny skies.  Winds should be rather calm.

Thu – Sunny – High 55 / Thu Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 34

Rinse & repeat forecast. High pressure will continue to dominate south central Kentucky, sunny and quiet continues to be the weather story. Temperatures will rebound slightly, into the mid 50s.
