Good Monday morning, everyone! We’re glad to have you start your morning with us. We started our week on an active note with some pretty neat cloud structures yesterday morning, and that active pattern looks to continue with a passing cold front that will keep things lively.
Showers Possible This Evening
The Father’s Day showers moved out last night and left us this morning with clear skies. Partly cloudy conditions look to dominate most of the day, at least until this evening.
Highs today will also return to typical summertime temperatures in the mid 80’s. By the late afternoon timeframe, we could start seeing some spotty showers fire and move into the region. A more organized structure looks to move through during the overnight hours.
Rain Cools Us Off Again
The showers from Monday look to linger into the morning hours of Tuesday as the cold front gets closer to the region. Some storms could bring some heavier rainfall, too. The wind will pick up as well, with some gusts upwards of 20 mph.
The rainy conditions will also help take daytime temperatures down a few notches. Highs on Tuesday look to only reach the low 80’s. The cold front looks to pass on Wednesday, so temperatures will remain in the low 80’s.
Additionally, with the cold front finally through, skies will clear up and we’ll see some sunshine return for Wednesday and the rest of the week!
That finishes today’s forecast. Thanks for reading! Follow our live weather feed @wxornotBG, as well as on Facebook, for all your weather updates. Stay dry!
