Today – Isolated Showers – High 82° / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 64°
A few showers are about the region early this morning. This should lead to some isolated sprinkles here and there during the morning hours. The NestCam is showing some of that rain and fog this morning.
A few more isolated showers may be possible during the afternoon and early evening hours as a cold front continues to move to the south of the region.
Outside of rain chances, mostly cloudy skies will be dominant across the region today. This, combined with slight northerly winds today will lead to highs only around 82°. If you can dodge the rain, it should turn out to be a nice day!
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected overnight with lows around 64° expected.
Sunday – Mostly Cloudy – High 82° / Sun Night – Mostly Cloudy – Low 63°
Canadian high pressure will settle into the region on Sunday morning. This will lead to cool and pleasant conditions.
The surface high pressure is embedded within an upper level trough across the region. This will lead to mostly cloudy skies throughout the day. As such, highs will once again top out around 82°.
Mostly cloudy skies should continue into the overnight hours as lows drop to around 63°.
Monday – Mostly Cloudy – High 85° / Mon Night – Mostly Cloudy – Low 66°
A different day with the same weather story is likely on Monday. High pressure will keep things dry, while the upper level trough will keep us in the clouds.
Temperatures will rebound a bit more as the high pressure moves to the east some. This will lead to some slight southerly surface flow into the region. Highs should be in the mid 80s.
A shortwave embedded within the main flow of the trough will approach the region Monday night. This will lead to cloudy skies with perhaps some sprinkles possible late. Lows will be in the mid 60s.
That should wrap up this forecast. Be sure to follow @wxornotBG and @WKUweather for the latest Bowling Green weather information. Have a great weekend!
