Good morning folks, I hope everyone is having a great day so far! A short blog update today with pretty quiet weather coming up, except for a new large scale trend coming soon.
Today
Briefly looking at today, more high pressure is centered near The Ohio Valley keeping away serious rain chances. Some very scattered cumulus clouds may be visible, but no rain is expected.
Temperatures are also pretty boring with highs in the mid 80s, very similar to the past few days.
Friday
Looking at tomorrow, we will get to see that high pressure begin to move away, and rain chances move back in.
The main rain threat will exist within very scattered showers and weak isolated thunderstorms. Overall, very similar to the rain and storm chances we have been seeing all summer.
Highs for tomorrow look to remain in the mid to upper 80s, showing off the very subtle uptick in temps that can be expected in the next few days.
Weekend
Rain chances this weekend will exist mostly to the east of WABBLES, but I would not be surprised to see some showers creep west into our area. Overall, however, do not expect a big threat as this will be very similar to the daily scattered showers we often see.
Looking at temps, highs will gradually be on the rise throughout the whole weekend into next week. This will introduce us to the new pattern into next week.
Next Week
Talking about next week, there is one word that needs to be talked about: heat. There is a high probability that we will be seeing above average temps in the 6-10 day timeframe (mid next week).
What this means for all of you, is that you should expect another warmup with highs in the 90s once again. It certainly does not look as serious as the one we just got out of, but it is certainly noteworthy.
That will be all for today WABBLES! I hope y’all have a great rest of your day while the mild temps last. I of course encourage all of you to come and visit us on our social media sites linked below.
